About the University:

Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KAI), also known as KNRTU-KAI, is one of Russia's leading institutions in aerospace engineering, aircraft manufacturing, engine production, instrumentation, computer science, radio engineering, and telecommunications.

Until recently, the university was known as the Kazan Aviation Institute (Kazan Aviation Institute - KAI). In 1973, it was named after Andrei Nikolayevich Tupolev, a renowned aircraft designer.

Today, KNRTU-KAI is recognized as the largest technical university in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga Region.
